Panoramic shots are best taken with a panoramic head which allows precision when shooting in a 360 degree rotation. This graduated rotating attachment fits between the camera and the tripod head, and allows precise alignment of a sequence of pictures taken as a horizontal strip. The alignment is always better with a longer rather than a shorter focal length lens.
